START studio officially opened in September 2010, and is located in the heart of the James Street North arts community in downtown Hamilton. 

Originally trained as a watercolor portrait artist, Sue has recently returned to painting again (after close to a 20 year hiatus!) and is creating bold acrylic canvases between the makeup gigs.  START studio is an opportunity to create and participate in a thriving arts community.  There are no fixed hours, there's no set agenda...but it's a great little space to work and display new paintings.

START studio will make every effort to open its' doors for the monthly James Street North Art Crawl (every 2nd Friday of the month)...with any luck, new paintings will be on display (if it's been particularly busy in makeup land, you'll have to settle for looking at the same old stuff!)
